Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XV has sold 8.1 million copies worldwide. This includes both retail shipments and digital sales across all platforms. The sales figure has vastly improved compared to Final Fantasy XIII and is considered to be the fourth best selling title in the long-running JRPG series.
Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition for iOS and Android launched on February 9, and will also get HD releases for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Expect more news regarding the future of the series at Tokyo Game Show 2018.
