Dark Light

Hellblade is personally one of my most anticipated games this year and finally it’s release date has been announced to be 8th August. Along with that, the system requirements of the game have also been revealed, so here is a quick look at what we are going need to play it:

MINIMUM:

    • OS: Windows 7, 8, 10
    • Processor: Intel i5 3570K / AMD FX-8350
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: GTX 770 with 2GB VRAM / Radeon R9 280X 3GB
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 30 GB available space

Looking at the CPU requirement, the game does feel a bit heavy due to the i5-3570k which is still a relatively powerful CPU. It compares well with the latest Skylake and Kabylake i5’s when overclocked and hence is a decent mid ranged processor. I don’t think an older i3 would be able to push through 30 fps, but if you have a modern i3 like a 6100 or above, it should run just fine. As for the GPU, it is the same as Nier: Automata, but it is being recommended for 720p gaming, so that’s a surprise considering GTX 770 is still a decent mid ranged card. But if you have something like a GTX 670 or GTX 760 I think you’ll be just fine. RAM and HDD requirements are pretty standard at 8 GB and 30 GB respectively.

Overall I think this is a considerably demanding game but you wouldn’t need to break the bank to play it. Recommended system requirements haven’t been disclosed, but we’ll update you as soon as possible. In the meantime, let us know what you think about this in the comments below.

    1. I don’t think you have the right information. It’s about 6-8 hours long according to the developer at least. I can’t say how long it’ll be since I haven’t played the game
