According to the report published on Videogamer, Sony’s upgraded PS4- referred as “NEO 4K” -will be released before October, according to French video games distributor Innelec Multimedia.

During the announcement of Innelec’s Fiscal Year 2016 earning report, they might accidentally expose the release window of what it calls to be an “evolution” of Sony’s PS4 console in their press release.

It will arrive during the first half of Innelec’s current financial year, which extends from April 2016-March 2017, suggesting the console will make it at some point between now and the end of September 2016. It was rumored yesterday that the console could be unveiled at TGS this September, alongside the Nintendo NX.

Although, Innelec’s press release doesn’t seem to be available on its website, but percentages of it have been reproduced on a stocks website Boursier.com, suggesting it’s legit. It’s also been uploaded by French blog otaxou.fr.

Sony has not substantiated the existence of an upgraded PS4, though these reports strongly pointing towards the existence of a PlayStation NEO 4K, which will possibly makes its way into market before PSVR does.
