Wii U owners, waiting to play Watch_Dogs on their console, finally have a date to look upto.

Wii U Edition of Watch_Dogs will be available in North America on the 18th of November and in Europe on the 21st of November.

Its not yet clear if the DLC that have already made their way to other platforms, will be included in the original game, though it would be a nice gesture towards all the Wii U owners who have waited for so long.

Watch_Dogs producer Dominic Guay explained that the delay allowed them to focus on the console and provide a more tailored experience to the Wii U gamers.

“We have our studio in Bucharest working on it, and we wanted that team to have the time to explore the GamePad and be able to have fun with it and see how far they could push it,” Guay was quoted.

Watch_Dogs on the Wii U will support Off-Play, so you can use the Wii U controller screen to play the game while your TV is busy. During normal play, the screen in the Wii U controller will show you an interactive map. All these features are pretty standard fare in most Wii U games, so I don’t think they are really pushing anything here.

I don’t know how many Indians own an actual Wii U, so not sure how many of you will actually be affected by this news. Watch_Dogs was not everything that it was hyped out to be, but it was still pretty awesome. If you do own a Wii U, Watch_Dogs is one of the better games you can play on the console.

Tell us what you think of Ubisoft releasing Watch_Dogs so late, and should they hold off on the all DLC?
