Humans have come a long way from the days of the late ice age when a majority of life emerged on the planet. The cycle of evolution has been documented pretty well in Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. The game was unique in tackling a theme that few others have tried to explore – resulting in a unique gameplay experience for the players. (On that account, we do think that the game has some of the best depictions of evolution). Some crucial information about the future of the game has been spilled today – and we have scooped it up for everyone to see.
Panache Digital Games, the developers behind Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, were part of a Reddit AMA on the r/pcgaming subreddit. In one of the questions, Reddit user u/Ererer3r decided to ask the developers about the future of the game. Panache Digital was honest enough to say that they have already designed a sequel for the game.
They were also honest enough to mention that while the sequel is going to be a thing, it is not the title in production at the studio at the moment. The ‘Stay Tuned’ at the end adds an aura of mystery to the answer as a whole.
Since the word has come from the developers themselves, there’s no “waiting for confirmation” for this one. However an official date for an announcement for even more news hasn’t been mentioned – all we can do is watch and wait.
