Developer Double Fine showed off a new trailer of its wacky sequel Psychonauts 2 at the Xbox Games Showcase. The game theme is sung by none other than famous actor-comedian and Youtube personality Jack Black. During the gameplay section, we see a return of the protagonist of the first game, psychic spy Raz, who enters a brain floating in a jar. Our trip takes us on a journey of psychedelic concerts and shows off new psi-skills like the ‘Time Bubble’ to slow down time and objects. Psychonauts 2 feels like a return to the roots of the exciting old-school platformer genre – we have our faith in Tim Schafer!
